Edward Hines Joins Aero-Zone as Chief Financial Officer

July 22, 2015

Chandler, Arizona – Aero-Zone has named Edward Hines its Chief Financial Officer.

Edward brings over 31 years of experience in banking and finance, serving in senior executive roles for some of Arizona’s most respected financial institutions, including Bank of Arizona and M&I Bank.  For sixteen of those years, Hines worked with  Aero-Zone, as its commercial banking relationship manager, overseeing the company’s banking and financing needs, and those of other high-profile industry companies.

“I’ve watched Aero-Zone grow in the years we’ve worked together, so I was thrilled when the company invited me on board.  I’m looking forward to being involved, hands-on, in the company’s continued growth” said Hines.  “We’ve placed our confidence in Ed for over sixteen years, so we jumped at the chance to bring his experience in-house” said Alfredo Dreyfus, Jr., President of Aero-Zone.  “His expertise speaks for itself, and since joining us in June of this year, he’s already made a significant impact.”

Hines is responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance functions of Aero-Zone, it’s European subsidiary in Shannon, Ireland, and those of related companies.  In addition, he provides analysis of client and vendor credit, planning for the company’s capital needs, and managing the company’s acquisitions.

In his first month with the company, Hines has implemented a number of financial controls and policies, as well as revising credit policies and maximizing cost savings associated with operations in the U.S. and Europe.

An Ohio native, Edward Hines has lived in the Valley of the Sun for twenty-five years, settling in Chandler in 1992.
